Looking for a great gluten free beer to enjoy with your Chex mix? Have an awesome, malty Bard’s Tale. Don’t let the word malt scare you away. It’s made from malted sorghum. I’d definitely recommend it over Redbridge now. Disclosure: I purchased the Bard’s. Actually, my mom wanted some and gave me money to buy it for her.
Gluten Free Chex Mix
Combine in a large bowl:
- 1 box Rice or Corn Chex
- 4 cups Glutino Pretzels
- 4 cups raw cashews
- 5 cups garlic bread chips (made from gluten free garlic focaccia bread)
Combine then pour over cereal mixture:
- 3 sticks Earth Balance® Vegan Buttery Sticks, melted
- 6 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
Spread onto several cookie sheets and bake for approximately 1 hour at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes. Makes a lot.
