Could you celebrate any holiday without cupcakes? Didn’t think so.

Planning food for the 4th of July?  Here are some of my favorite gluten free recipes that are perfect for any summer celebration.

Kale and collard green chips make a standout side for any barbecue.  And they’re easy to make in the microwave. Or bake another salad green in the oven. How about spinach or chard chips?

Overlooked yet so worthy, collard greens are delicious when baked into chips.

Whether baked in an oven or cooked in a skillet, gluten free naan is one of the tastiest and most versatile breads around. Great for dipping and so good as a base for pizza.

Black bean burgers made with quinoa and spinach would be a fantastic option for veggie guests.  Serve wrapped in naan or perhaps an overnight roll made with sorghum flour. Don’t forget the pickles! Use zucchini, cucumber, or whatever vegetable you like to make homemade quick pickles. And if anyone’s thirsty? Cheers to coconut creamsicle sodas!
