Chai Chia Shake

easy chai chia shake

When I was a kid, chia meant pet. But as the saying goes, things change. Or stay the same.

Chia seeds are full of magic and help me avoid too much between-meal snacking. After a morning shake, I’ve actually walked past candy bowls and not taken a single piece. So that’s something. Not to be a killjoy, but chia seeds can lower blood pressure and should be avoided by people who take blood thinners.

This chai-inspired shake is really great for breakfast with a muffin and fruit. Mixed the night before, it’ll thicken in the fridge overnight for the ultimate fast food breakfast. I’ll admit this shake is nothing to look at, but it is tasty.
