Gluten Free Pumpkin Dinner Rolls

gluten free pumpkin dinner rolls

Here’s a seasonal take on a favorite gluten free bread recipe. These gluten free rolls would be great for your turkey day dinner. Use any leftover rolls for sandwiches after the big day.

To make the rolls, I substituted 2/3 cup pumpkin puree in place of the mashed potatoes in this gluten free roll recipe. I added 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, too. Purely optional. That tiny bit of cinnamon adds just a hint of pumpkin spice.

For those of you who wondered why I haven’t posted much lately, I had surgery for thyroid cancer in September. The road to recovery has been bumpy. But I’m hopeful that things will turn around. I updated the original post about it here.

Thank you for the sweet emails, for following the blog, attending the bread class, and for continuing to share posts you find useful. Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

  1. Linda–These rolls are just gorgeous! Love that you created these Pumpkin Rolls with that one simple change!

Glad you’re making progress on your health journey, albeit not a straight path. Yes, sadly, endocrinologists are often very similar to gastroenterologists in their lack of knowledge. Hope your next one is a good one!

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Linda!
