Low Carb Rye-Style Bun for One

low carb rye-style bun for one recipe

Here’s an easy recipe for a single serve deli-style bun. Fluffy and light, it’s amazing how a simple bun can elevate even the most mundane lunchtime offering.

The best part: it’s ready in about twenty minutes. Or two, if you prefer the instant gratification of microwave baked goods.

Gluten free, low carb, and better than you’d expect for a quick recipe. Caraway seeds and a hint of cocoa powder give this bun a rye-style vibe.

  1. Wow, Linda! What a coup this bun is! It reminds me of a microwave bun that another blogger named Linda created long ago. She, too, used cocoa for the coloring and some flavoring. I can see your recipe working much better because of the specific ingredients you used.
